This week Ireland got battered by a hurricane called Ophelia, by the time she hit land she had been downgraded to a 'storm'.
We have seen heroic work by the repair teams to get power and services restored to over 300,000 homes. That may not seem like a huge number compared to the swathes of the Caribbean that have been hit badly this summer but for a little country not used to or prepared for such an event the response has been exceptional. In the midst of all the upheaval, power gone, phone signals gone - the puppies, Bree and I sat through it with an old radio for company. Monday night, wind still blowing, sitting by the fire just being in the moment with the pups, there was little else to do, an enforced stillness during the storms blowing around me. We were just there together. I allowed myself the time to 'check-in' with some of my animal clients and see how they were, it was a real treat. I forgot that this radio interview was going out today so when I got a couple of texts and messenger comments it was a lovely surprise - for those of you that missed it https://events.iteleseminar.com/?eventID=101322426 Time to continue the clear up here and the treasure hunt - however, Brian may hinder things this weekend. Class postponed this weekend due to the weather so the next one will be Linking Awareness Journey in November - come and join me on the most profound hike you will ever take, from your head to your heart.
