At the time of an event it can be challenging to move through it - for me it has been having to say goodbye to Bree, to that part of my life, that chapter. Life keeps going and I know that there will be other horses, other days, new adventures.
Bree was part of the 'old' cycle and getting me where I needed to be, guess he knows more than I do as I am not quite sure where I am or where I am going. It feels a little like you have had a navigator for a trip or a friend to walk with you but about 100yards from your destination they say ' just down there, you can't miss it, first on the right, this is where I stop'. It seems that last 100yards is the longest and hardest part of the walk and you wonder if you got it right, did you miss the spot, were you on the right path. You know what though - the place will come around again, life is a circle we keep going around and around and occasionally someone/thing from the past / future steps into our reality to assist. All my life's a circle; Sunrise and sundown; Moon rolls through the nighttime; 'Til the daybreak comes around. All my life's a circle; But I can't tell you why; Season's spinning round again; The years keep rollin' by. It seems like I've been here before; I can't remember when; But I have this funny feeling; That we'll all be together again. No straight lines make up my life; And all my roads have bends; There's no clear-cut beginnings; And so far no dead-ends. I found you a thousand times; I guess you done the same; But then we lose each other; It's like a children's game; As I find you here again; A thought runs through my mind; Our love is like a circle; Let's go 'round one more time. I found you a thousand times; I guess you done the same; But then we lose each other; It's like a children's game; Songwriters: Harry Chapin Circle lyrics © Harry Chapin Foundation Comments are closed.
